Indian Horse - Movie Poster Redesign

This a poster redesign for the Canadian movie "Indian Horse" that is about the dark history of the residential school.
I chose a minimalistic approach since the message shown in the original movie poster is also quite subtle.
Original movie posters
The "1" and "3" in the title combine into "13", which is the jersey number of the main character, Saul.
Hockey Jersey of Saul: Team Moose (Left) Team Maple Leafs (Right)
The face in the center is a simple outline of Saul.
The two hockey sticks, placed in the form of a cross, cover Saul's mouth.
Green represents Team Moose, the aboriginal hockey team he joined after he learned hockey in the residential school.
Blue is the color of Team Maple Leafs, which is the team he was headhunted by.
The cross represents how the priest from the residential school and the coach of Team Maple Leafs forced Saul to not speak for himself by oppressing him through his passion for hockey.
This powerful line from the movie is putted in the poster because it really captured the theme of the story.
